ABU DHABI Iranian chess player Mohammad Sadeq Mahmoudi is leading the men's division of 8th International Chess Competitions in Abu Dhabi. At the conclusion of the fourth round of the competitions, Mahmoudi has four points on the strength of four victories. Iranian women chess players Shirin Navabi and Leila Peimani each have 2.5 points from 4 matches, and are in the second place in their division.

Abu Dhabi's chess tournament started last Wednesday with participation of 349 players from 29 countries. (IRNA)
